The Khora Prime Whipclaw Build
This build focuses entirely on infinite energy and an immortal shield system so that you can use the whip without interruption.
The Frame Setup Guide
- Helminth Ability: Replace Khora’s 3rd ability (Venari) with Lycast’s Hunt (from Voruna).
Why? This ensures that melee kills (which your whip counts as) guarantee a health orb every 2 kills.
- The Energy Combo: Use the mod Equilibrium.
Why? It instantly converts the dropped health orbs into massive amounts of energy. This gives you infinite resources to spam your abilities.
- The Survival System (Shield-Gating): Use Brief Respite (Aura) and the mod Catalyzing Shields.
Why? Catalyzing Shields is mechanically designed to give you the full invulnerability time of 1.33 seconds as soon as your shields break—no matter how small your maximum shield capacity is. Every time you cast your whip, Brief Respite regenerates shields based on the energy spent. This makes you essentially immortal as long as you keep attacking.
- Archon Shards:
2x Amber (Yellow): For Casting Speed (this now noticeably speeds up the whip animation).
3x Violet: For Melee Critical Damage.
Alternative Helminth: Brightbonnet (Nokko)
Better for stationary play such as survival or defense. The mushroom gives energy and an ability strength buff while you stay near it. Hunt remains the better choice if you keep moving.
